Oni tacno znaju koliko njima treba

        • However, the news that Rossi and Hayden are to ride an early version of next year's (1000cc) MotoGP Ducati is a new development.

It meets the letter of the law, since the 2012 bike is clearly not eligible for the present (800cc) MotoGP class - and may not, in its current state, be eligible for the 2012 class either.

          Evo ostatka price:

Nista cudno, regulisace oni to.

                    • GP12 TESTING SESSION
                      Friday Apr 08 2011
                      Jerez (Spain)

VALENTINO ROSSI RIDES THE DUCATI GP12 FOR THE FIRST TIME, AT JEREZ

Valentino Rossi took his first laps aboard the Ducati GP12 Friday morning on the Andalusian circuit in Jerez de la Frontera on a day that was sunny and warm (29° air, 41° track; 84° and 106° Fahrenheit, respectively), with the only imperfection being a strong wind. The Italian took to the circuit a few minutes after 11:00 and did a first run of six laps. With that outing having been completed with no problems, the work continued apace for the entire day, by the end of which Valentino had turned 50 laps.

Vittoriano Guareschi, who had worn his riding leathers on Thursday, today looked after Valentino’s test, participating together with Filippo Preziosi in all of the mini-briefings between the various runs. Meanwhile, Franco Battaini carried out a test of the GP11, working with the electronics and chassis settings.

“I’m happy,” Valentino Rossi said after the test. “I like the GP12. In my opinion, it’s more enjoyable, more fun to ride. It was the first time we had it on the track, so we had some work to do, but the engine is nicer. It’s a lot of fun, and you can do some nice slides. It’s the bike we’ll ride next year, so it was very important—and also very nice—to be among the first to take it on the track.”

“We chose to have our factory riders—today Vale, tomorrow Nicky—try the bike beginning with its first test, because we think their feedback is essential for starting us on the right path for the early development,” Filippo Preziosi said. “To be able to work with Vale for a full day is more than any technician could ask. We gathered considerable feedback that we’ll translate into further design and development for next year’s bike. The positive thing is that the technical choices made for the GP12 in the initial planning phase, in 2010—and I’m referring primarily to the engine, which is still a big-bang, and to the rear end—were endorsed by Valentino. This gives us great satisfaction, and we’re optimistic about the work that still remains to be done. We know that our competitors are also working hard and developing their 2012 bikes, but that just makes the challenge better.”

                      • Cal Crutchlow begins recovery after successful arm surgery

                        Friday, 8 April 2011
Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team rider Cal Crutchlow has undergone successful surgery in Modena, Italy, to cure a right arm problem that has troubled the talented British rider in the first two races of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship.

The 2009 World Supersport champion underwent a routine operation at the Policlinico di Modena yesterday, a hospital that specialises in hand and arm surgery, under the supervision of Dr Antonio Landi. He is under observation of the Clinica Mobile staff and Dr. Costa who will be following him all way through his recovery.
Crutchlow has been suffering with arm pump in the opening two rac es in Qatar and Jerez, which is a common condition in MotoGP given the physical demands of competing in the elite class. In Crutchlow's case, muscles in his right arm were trapping nerves and causing numbness in his right hand and arm while riding his YZR-M1 machine.
After finishing 11th in a fantastic MotoGP debut in Qatar last month and then eighth in an incident-packed Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez, Crutchlow took advantage of the long break prior to the next race in Estoril on May 1 to complete the surgery.
Crutchlow will have stitches removed in 12 days time and he is confident he will be fully fit when practice for the Estoril round in Portugal commences on April 29.
                        Cal Crutchlow
: "Since the start of the year I've had a problem with my arm muscles and nerves and my hand went numb when I was riding. It started in Sepang in testing and it occurs each time I ride the bike. Therefore we decided to do this operation to solve the issue, so I can be in 100 per cent physical condition for the rest of the season. With this break we have now, it was the perfect time to have the surgery and be assured that I can be back in peak condition for the next race in Portugal. At the moment I can't feel two of my fingers, but the doctor said that is completely normal and that the feeling will come back very soon. They had to move the muscles from the nerves as the muscle was trapping the nerves and that's why I was losing feeling in my hand and arm. The doctors said that in 12 days the stitches will come off and I will be able to ride in Portugal, so I'm really looking forward to riding the bike without the problem with my arm.”
                        Herv Poncharal – Team Manager:
: " To have surgery once the season has started is always a worry, but I think Cal made the right decision as we have this long break now before the next race in Portugal. If he didn't have the operation the problem could get bigger and bigger, and you need to be at 100 per cent to ride in MotoGP and be competitive. I remember Marco Melandri had the same problem in 2004 and he had the same surgery between Catalunya and Assen, which were back-to-back races. He had the surgery on the Monday after the race in Spain and only five days later he was on the podium in Assen and it was no problem. Cal has much more time to recover, so we hope to see him without this problem and continuing his amazing start for the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team in Estoril. We are very happy with his progress so far and hopefully now he will be free from the arm problem we will only see him getting stronger.

..drago nam je,end milo nam je..

                          • Dani Pedrosa celebrates 10 years in the World Championship

                            Friday, 8 April 2011
On April 8, 2001, a 15-year-old Dani Pedrosa made his debut in the MotoGP World Championship. This Friday marks the 10th anniversary of that date.

Dani Pedrosa celebrates 10 years in Grand Prix racing
A decade ago the dream started for a very young Dani Pedrosa. The Spanish rider was for the first time at the start of a World Championship Grand Prix. Pedrosa, a two-wheel lover from when he was a child, Mick Doohan’s unconditional fan –the Australian dominated the World Championship with the Repsol livery when the Spaniard was doing his first laps on a pocket bike- made his debut in the Japanese circuit of Suzuka.
For the last few seasons, Pedrosa, now 25, is one of the most important riders of the MotoGP class. Just after undergoing surgery in his left clavicle, the rider from Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona) is focused on the next Portuguese Grand Prix that will be held in Estoril Circuit on May 1st.
In these ten years, Pedrosa competed in 164 races and finished on the podium in more than a half. He secured victory 35 times (once every five races). During this time, he won three World Championships –one in 125cc and two in 250cc- and he has been runner-up of the premiere class twice. Always among the fastest competitors, Dani Pedrosa has earned during these years the respect of the two-wheel world due to his talent, passion and determination.
