Wenger - We want 'one or two players'
Arsène Wenger says Arsenal are working hard to bring in "one or two players" before the transfer window closes.
Club captain Mikel Arteta underwent surgery on his left ankle this week while Mathieu Debuchy had an operation on the shoulder he dislocated during Sunday's 3-0 win over Stoke City.
Both players are expected to miss three months and Wenger, who was already on the lookout for potential signings, wants to reinforce his squad.
"Yes we are more [in the market now]," he told Arsenal.com.
"We have Chambers and we have Bellerin, who is coming on well, and I want to give them a chance as well, but of course we are in the market like many other clubs.
"We work really hard morning until late night to try to get one or two players in."
