Nadal: Dajem sve od sebe, ali Novak je čudesan


Tokom prethodnih sedam godina Rafael Nadal je od 201 nastupa na šljaci izgubio samo osam puta. Dva puta za redom poraz mu je ovog maja na njegovoj omiljenoj podlozi servirao Novak Đoković, koji ga je pre Rima pobedio i u Madridu, kao i u još dva ovogodišnja finala.

“Novak radi čudesne stvari. Na svakom meču je neverovatno čvrst i fizički i mentalno. Radim sve što mogu, dajem sve od sebe i ne mogu više da tražim od sebe. Igram dobro, ali jedan igrač igra bolje od mene. Čekam svaku narednu nedelju i tražim nova rešenja. Videćemo”, rekao je Nadal posle poraza u Rimu.

On je dodao da zna da je će jednog trenutka iskoristiti svoju šansu.

“Moram da sačekam svoj trenutak, to dobro znam. Zadovoljan sam kako sam igrao. Nisam loše udarao lopticu, ali je on nekako uvek bio u boljoj poziciji. Bio sam i agresivniji nego prošle nedelje. Nisam bio defanzivan kao u Madridu”, rekao je Nadal.

Španski as naglašava da ga ne brine to što već vlada mišljenje da je postao “svrgnuti kralj”.

“Nije važno da li ljudi misle da me je sada lakše pobediti nego ranije. Jednostavno, jedan igrač je bolji od mene u ovom trenutku. Ali, biti šampion nije samo u tome da pobeđujete svake nedelje, već da umete da čekate na svoj, pravi momenat. Trenutno jedan teniser osvaja sve, ja sam drugi ali se ne predajem. Sigurno se neće ovo (Novakova serija) produžiti u večnost, jer je to nemoguće. Naravno, želim mu sve najbolje, a meni ostaje da čekam moj trenutak i pobedim ga sledeći put. Probao sam ovoga puta i nekim visokim loptama, tačno je, ali to je zato što sam u Madridu izgubio pa sam probao neke nove stvari. Imam ja još nekoliko novih stvarih koje ću da probam sledeći put kada se sretnemo”, najavljuje Nadal nove velike dvoboje sa Noletom.

Jedino sto mu nije trebalo je ovo sa Noletom posle Madrida,tu me je malo razocarao.

Novak moze samo zahvaliti Rafi i Rogeru sto je postao to sto je sada jer da nije bilo te dvojice igraca bio bi 1 ali nikad veliki sampion

NADAL NAMED AMONG FORBES TOP 50 MOST POWERFUL CELEBRITIES

Rafael Nadal is bidding to retain his Roland Garros trophy.
Rafael Nadal has been ranked No. 46 on Forbes Magazine’s annual list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Celebrities. The list has been published since 1999 and takes into account earnings, fame, and global exposure in the media.

Last year, the Spaniard earned an ATP record $10,171,998 in prize money alone, having won three successive Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros (d. Soderling), Wimbledon (d. Berdych) and the US Open (d. Djokovic).

The 24-year-old Nadal will look to retain his Roland Garros crown in the next two weeks as he contests the clay-court Grand Slam in Paris. The Mallorcan arrived in the French capital city on Wednesday to be one of the first players to practise on the Philippe Chatrier Court. “It’s very special arriving here because it’s the best clay-court tournament in the world and I’ve had so many great memories here,” said Nadal.

The main singles draw for Roland Garros will be made on Friday, with main draw play due to begin on Sunday.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have both been included among the Top 50 in Forbes Magazine’s annual list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Celebrities. They also feature in the subcategory 10 Most Powerful Athletes. The list has been published since 1999 and takes into account earnings, fame, and global exposure in the media.

At No. 25 in the list, sixteen-time Grand Slam champion Federer is among the top 3 of the 19 athletes to be included, behind only Tiger Woods (No. 6) and Lebron James (No. 10), and ahead of David Beckham (No. 35).

"Federer still commands the most impressive endorsement portfolio in all of sports with 10 major deals including Nike, Credit Suisse, Rolex and Wilson," said Forbes Magazine. "He was the only one of Gillette’s original three 'Champions' to have his deal renewed this year as the brand dropped Tiger Woods and Thierry Henry."

He earned $10.5 million in prize money over the last 12 months."
