Dostigao svoje ciljeve, konacno postao broj 1. Ostvario sve sto ga je dugo mucilo. I doslo do prezasicenosti, pada motiva, nemarnosti, samim tim su i ocajne igre vrlo logicna posledica svega toga. Marej se preforsirao na kraju godine kad je jurio 1.mesto, a on jednostavno nije Nadal, Djokovic i Fed i ako nije na 100% svojih mogucnosti, mnogo mu se cesce desavaju kiksevi.

Rafa opet piše istoriju tenisa velikim slovima. Vse čestitke i Thiemu, koji je odigrao zaista odličan meč.
V Barceoni je izgledalo da je između Rafe in Thiema velika razlika u kvaliteti tako da sam osobno baš iznenađen, da se je Thiem danas tako dobro nosioComment
