Rams agreed to terms with LT Jake Long, formerly of the Dolphins, on a four-year, $34 million contract.
The Dolphins have dropped a ton of coin in free agency, but may enter the 2013 season with Jonathan Martin on Ryan Tannehill's blind side. That could get ugly. Although Long's once-sterling performance and durability have declined each of the past two seasons, Rams doctors gave him the green light and he will shore up left tackle for Sam Bradford. Rodger Saffold will kick to the right side. Long, 28 in May, has made four Pro Bowls in five NFL seasons and was the first overall pick in the 2008 NFL draft. Still a punishing drive blocker in the running game, the move at the very least is fantastic news for Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead.

Texans agreed to terms with S Ed Reed, formerly of the Ravens, on a two-year contract.
Financial terms have yet to be revealed, but CBS' Jason La Canfora "wouldn't be surprised at all" if Reed gets close to $6 million per season. If that's the case, he'll be one of the lone free agents to actually get close to what he was asking for. Reed is an ideal replacement for Glover Quin, and adds an edge to a defense that let itself get pushed around down the stretch last season.

Iskren da budem isto sam ocekivao da Reed potpise jednogodisnji ugovor....malopre ugledah na twitter-u kazu da je u stvari potptisao trogodisnji ugovor....ali po meni mala je verovatnoca da ce on taj ugovor ceo odraditi....ima Ed lepih godina.
