2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster

Lamborghini CEO and President Stephan Winkelmann has just confirmed that the brand will be undertaking a limited production run of these Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster LP750-4 supercars for the 2017 model year. Limited to just 500 units, this Lambo with a riveting Blue Glauco exterior finish will feature a 6.5-liter V12 750HP engine with a 221mph top speed and 0-60mph time of just 2.8 seconds. All of that power will be harnessed with a seven-speed ISR transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Although the Roadster will weigh in heavier than its Coupe kin, drivers can remove the carbon fiber roof and enjoy a newly designed carbon monocoque chassis, each making the extra 110 pounds worth every ounce.

Mansory has gone to work on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, resulting in a design that features “carbon fiber everywhere the eye can see.” The material is used in the main components of the entire bodywork of the resulting Mansory Carbonado “Black Diamond,” which now features a new hood, lip spoiler and bumper, redesigned with improved inlets. At the back, a diffuser works in tandem with a rear wing so that rear wheels won’t lose grip. The roof and the engine cover have also been remade with carbon fiber. Not all the changes revolve around the lightweight polymer, as Mansory has also reworked the 6.5 litre V12 cylinder and fitted it with two turbochargers, as well as a new performance exhaust system. The result is an impressive power output of 1250 hp, enabling a sprint time of 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.
