u broju titula u svim klasama.

- Mike and Ago often rode two different class of bikes the same day. Practice on two classes, qualify on two classes and race on two classes the same day, and win both. Often they didn't even have enough time between races to change into new leathers.
Big thing with Ago is that he never crashed seriously.
Ago raced against Hailwood 3 years.
1965 (350cc & 500cc) - 1. Hailwood (MVA) 2. Ago (MVA)
1966 & 1967
350cc - 1. Hailwood (Honda) 2. Ago (MVA)
500cc - 1. Ago (MVA) 2. Hailwood (Honda)
"Mike the Bike" - Mike Hailwood (9 world titles)
- Hailwood's unbelievable achievement was 1978 at IOM. After an 11 year long absences from motorcycling 38-year-old Hailwood performed a legendary comeback at the Isle of Man TT and won on Ducati 900SS?!
Just imagine for instance Mike Doohan came back next year and won an as wild card at Phillip Island.
- Of Mike's ability Murray Waker (motorsport commentator) said this: "His versatility and skill were awe-inspiring. I've seen him at the same meeting win races on a left foot gear change 125cc two stroke, a right foot change 250cc twin, a 350cc single cylinder four stroke and a four cylinder works MV. I've seen him start at the back of the grid with an injured leg and a pusher to get him going and still beat a field of top world class riders. His fluid style was unmistakeable and supreme, irrespective of whether it was wet or dry and he did it all with nonchalant charm and modesty."
Agostini: "Winning so many is difficult in any era. In my time it was more dangerous. Every Sunday you lost a friend and a rival."
