Rafa mi na ovim slikama izgleda bolje raspolozen i opusteniji nego bilo gde od pocetka godine... Nadam se da ce tako i ostati

Da,mi Rafini fanovi,uvek ponavljamo ovo...#1,makar na samo nedelju dana....Prosto ne mogu da verujem da neko ko je takav borac,toliko disciplinovan,ko daje sve od sebe, ne moze da ostvari svoj cilj toliko dugo..Nekad se i u zivotu pitate,ima li smisla raditi nesto?..Tu se treba ugledati na upornog Nadala..On siri veoma poucnu filozofiju zivota -Nista nije nemoguce
Angel,hvala za pics ..Dorcolac,dao si savrsenu definiciju Rafe,nadam se da cu ljudi u Srbiji malo vise ceniti ovog momka,a ne samo gledati ga kao nadmenog Spanca,koji ometa Nola u svojim namerama :P

INDIAN WELLS - Defending Pacific Life Open champion Rafael Nadal is a patient man.

Or, at least, he appeared to be Thursday at Indian Wells. He's spent three years as No. 2 behind Swiss star Roger Federer, yet the 21-year-old Spaniard showed little excitement about the narrowing gap between them in the ATP Rankings.

"It's closer in the rankings, but not closer if you know exactly what I have to defend right now," said Nadal, who made the semifinals here in 2006 and has a 12-2 record in the desert. "People speak a lot about that, but the truth is everything is very difficult now. I have to defend the title here.

"Maybe this is not the right moment for No. 1, that's for sure."

He's right, of course. It would be impossible for Nadal to gain ground here. He won the event last year, and Federer went out in the opening round. But depending on how they do during the next 10 days, the top position could be up for grabs later this month at the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne.

Both Nadal and Federer have held their current rankings for record lengths: Nadal at No. 2 for 138 consecutive weeks; Federer on top for 215.

"I don't like to think about that," Nadal said. "I only watch the (ATP) Race. The Race is important. Now I'm No. 3, so I'll continue to try and play well."

Nadal is behind Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and leader Novak Djokovic in the season-long points competition. Federer is in ninth.

Early season losses to Tsonga (semifinals, Australian Open) and Andy Roddick (quarterfinals, Dubai Tennis Championships) in hardcourt events has Nadal, a claycourt specialist, trying to push himself to be aggressive in the coming weeks.

"If I play good I can play more aggressive," he said. "Against Roddick, I felt I was very close. I feel more comfortable on clay, but on other surfaces I have won tournaments, and important tournaments."

After defeating Djokovic in the finals of the Pacific Life Open last March, Nadal went on to win five titles in eight finals and three in a row after he left Indian Wells.

He won his third consecutive French Open and followed it up with his second consecutive runner-up finish on the grass at Wimbledon.

Nadal said he doesn't see why he can't do the same this year.

"Why not, no?" he said. "I have for the last three years been No. 2 in the world with amazing results. So, why not play at the same level. The thing is to try to be there every day. And if I win two matches, maybe I can get the confidence to finish the (Pac-Life) like last year."

Svaka chast na ovim komentarima koje chitam od strane Elene i Dorcolca! Stvarno ste me pozitivno iznenadili! Drago mi je da ima ljudi koji cene prave vrednosti u zivotu i koji su sposobni da u liku Rafe vide jednog obichnog dechka sa iskrenim srcem i dobrom dushom.
Ono shto mi posebno znachi je saznanje da nisam jedina koju je Rafa osvojio svojim vamosiranjem, iskrenoshcu, zarom za pobedom na terenu, a opet takvom smirenoshcu i skromnoshcu van terena. Vidim i da su komentatori na mnogim kanalima, kao i na samom SK promenili svoje mishljenje u pozitivnom smeru prema Rafi i to me chini dodatno srecnom! Svaka chast i samo napred!
Shto se smene na prvom mestu tiche, uverena sam da je taj momenat izvestan, a ostaje da vidimo kada ce se sva kockice potpuno ukolpiti...cenim Feda neizmerno, ali bih volela da vidim da se sav taj Rafin trud napokon isplati na pravi nachin, kao kruna tolikih mnogobrojnih uspeha.
Mada, kada ga vidim onako nasmejanog , kako uziva u svakom mechu i zivotu, iskrena da budem, ako ima osmeh na licu i ako je srecan moze da bude i 101. na ATP listi!

e sada ?e biti zanimljivo ....... Nadal - Tsonga.......veselo.... mada ipak mislim da ?e nadal lagano...

Bice zanimljivo sigurno, ali sam ja optimistichki nastrojena po pitanju Rafine pobede. Ne mislim da ce to biti laka pobeda obzirom da je Tsonga u sasvim dobrom zaletu, a Rafa tek hvata svoj zalet, ali se nadam najboljem! VAMOS RAFA!!! ;)
