Banjalučanin Robert Dacešin magistrirao je na Međunarodnom menadžmentu na Ekonomskom univerzitetu u Bratislavi.
"Tenis sam počeo da treniram 1998. godine i bivši sam prvak Republike Srpske u tri kategorije – do 10, 12 i 14 godina. U slobodno vrijeme sam počeo da se pripremam za teniskog sudiju i prije osam godina sam dobio međunarodnu licencu i od tada neprestano putujem i sudim na najvažnijim svjetskim teniskim turnirima".
Radio je kao glavni i linijski sudija na ATP turnirima u Dohi, Minhenu, Umagu, a nedavno je dobio i poziv za Vimbldon , koji je iz "viznih“ razloga stigao sedmicu prekasno.
"Nisam imao priliku da sudim najboljem srpskom teniseru, ali uprkos tome mogu da kažem da je teniski svijet koji sam do sada upoznao podijeljen na dva dijela: na jednoj strani je Nadal, a na drugoj svi ostali. I dok se poslije mečeva do svih tenisera lakše ili teže može doći, Nadal je i bukvalno zaštićen mnogobrojnim tjelohraniteljima koji ga prate u stopu. Jednom sam pokušao da od njega 'iskamčim' potpis, ali pokušaj je propao i prije nego što sam došao do njega", priča Dacešin.
Prije godinu dana je sudio na velikom teniskom turniru u katarskoj Dohi i svima je govorio da nema tremu i da nije nervozan zbog velike odgovornosti. Ali, onda je izašao na centralni teren, pred 15.000 gledalaca i pred – Nadala.
"Da, Nadal je u potpunosti nedodirljiv. To su velike zvijezde. Zbog toga sam i odabrao da budem linijski, a ne glavni sudija, jer oni imaju mnogo manje problema sa igračima. Glavne sudije su izložene ogromnim pritiscima, a i to je društvo u koje se teško ulazi", kaže Dacešin.
A da je tenis jedan od najskupljih sportova koji je namijenjen samo odabranima, svjedoči i Dacešin: uprkos obećavajućoj karijeri, on je reket odložio na stranu i odlučio da bude – sudija.
"Tenis je najnesigurniji sport. Možete rasprodati kompletnu imovinu, a opet ne postoji garancija da ćete uspjeti, da ćete ući među prvih sto. A samo su oni bitni, a svi su oni vrhunski igrači, razlike su minimalne. Zbog toga sudim, a tenis je ostao po strani, kao intimna strast koju volim, kojoj se neprestano vraćam u igri i podučavanju drugih, ali bilo kakva pomisao na profesionalnu karijeru je davno završena. Sa druge strane, kao teniski sudija sam mnogo proputovao, lijepo zaradio, upoznao mnoge ljude. Nadam se da ću sljedeće godine doći i do Wimbledona, koji je kruna tenisera i sudija. Pored, naravno, Olimpijade", ističe Dacešin.
Boravio je u 25 zemalja, upoznao je mnogo ljudi iz čitavog svijeta, kod velikog broja od njih je i stanovao, a neki su mu i uzvratili posjetom, pa su tako kroz kuću Dacešina prošli Brazilci, Argentinci, Koreanci, Meksikanci, Australijanci, Francuzi, Španci, Poljaci...

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have won a combined 68 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles.
The top three players in the Emirates ATP Race To London - Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal - are playing together this week at the Shanghai Rolex Masters. It is the first time since Wimbledon the top trio are playing together in the same tournament.
The three have combined to win 68 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles: Nadal leads with 27, Federer is second with 22 and Djokovic third with 19. They also account for the top three spots in the all-time Masters 1000 match-wins leaders list, with Federer leading the way:
