Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Posto je Delpo izgubio u Parizu mogu da zavrsim analizu 10 (ili 15) najboljih igraca Masters 1000 serije koji nisu osvojili trofej te kategorije. Suzio sam izbor na samo 100 igraca (
)) pa cu veceras napraviti uzi filter od 30 najboljih pa da onda izmedju njih odaberem 10 ili 15, s tim sto je Kafeljnikov daleko ispred svih i nikako mi nije jasno kako mu se bar jedna nije omakla

Vid stvarno, 6 finala sve pogubio. A stvarno sam mislio da je uvatio koju jer mi ostalo u secanju njegovo ime kad sam gledao osvajace tj finala Masters titula.

1/2 na drugom turniru koji je uopste igrao, i finale na trecem, ali sve dzaba. Ukupno 5 finala na razlicitim podlogama i uslovima, 18 1/2 i 25 1/4!! Zamisli da 18 puta dodjes na dva meca od trofeja i sve procerdas, nesto slicno Bekeru i sljaci
Ne verujem preterano ATP bazi, ali bi bilo dobro da su bar od leta 1984. i pocetka nedeljnog rankinga uracunate sve pobede, mada sumnjam. Osnovni problem je sto se Top 10 igraci nisu okupljali na mnogo turnira, eventualno 5 ili 6 godisnje i skoro nikada svi zajedno, sto je velika stetaPancho Gonzalez ; Ivan Lendl ; Andre Agassi ; Rafael Nadal
