Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Dve veoma izjednacene karijere, gotovo do promila.. Konors ima jedan mali Mejdzor ali i vise pobeda i titula, Lendl je sa druge strane dominantna figura zlatne teniske decenije i sinonim za rad i disciplinu. Obojici je jedna podloga problem i ostvarili su slican ucinak u svim uslovima igranja
Vec poprilican broj dana pricamo o njima a niko nijednom nije pomenuo da je Lendl pobedio Konorsa u 17 vezanih meceva, sto mi se svidja jer ne predstavlja pravu sliku
Sinoc sam ekspresno zavrsio finale Vimbldona iz 1999., sa velikim zadovoljstvom radim meceve u kojima nema odugovalcenja, peskira ili bilo kakvog taktiziranja. Treba da sredim statistike za sva tri seta i onu ukupnu, postavljam ga posle podnePancho Gonzalez ; Ivan Lendl ; Andre Agassi ; Rafael Nadal

Tačno, od ja mslm, '84 (ili 85) Ivan nije izgubio niti jedan meč HtH. Ali sa druge strane je na početku svoje karijere, Ivan bio redovna mušterija Jimbu
(ako se ne varam)
Jimbo je bio čovek koji je moga da gubi 20, i da server ima meč loptu i da i u toj situaciji krene u preokret. Motivacija mu je bila jedna od najjačih na turuComment
