    Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

                  Moze li neko da mi objasni kako ce Nadal igrati OI kad nije ispunio uslov, odnosno minimum tri nastupa u DC-u nakon zadnje Olimpijade? (ovde uzimam u obzir da Rafa jos nije otkazao ucesce)

                    Nisam siguran. Nekada sam negde procitao da moze da igra zato sto je bio povredjen, pa je zbog toga za njega vazio malo drugaciji uslov. Medjutim, skoro sam pronasao ovaj pdf https://www.rio2016.com/sites/defaul...ennis-en_0.pdf.
                    Tu pogledaj stavku na trecoj strani, pod brojem 3. Izgleda da moze da igra zbog osvojnog zlata ili osvojenog Slema...

                    Edit: Ipak ce biti da je zbog povrede upao.
                    Znam da sam nekada negde citao taj pravilnik, ali se ne secam gde a ni kada...
                    Na ovoj stranici mogu da se vidi svih 8 pretstavnika koji nisu direktno upali:

                    Ustvari, za sada je samo njih 7 napisano, ali bi i Nadal bio napisan da je tako upao na igre.

                    A evo na ovaj stranici https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis..._Qualification, moze da se vidi "razlog" zbog kojeg nadal moze da igra.

                    "Player received special dispensation for the Davis Cup/Fed Cup requirements from the ITF". To isto stoji i kod Del Potra, samo verovatno iz malo drugacijih razloga.

                    Realno gledano, nema smisla da ne moze da igra. Stvarno je dosta bio povredjen. Kada mogu da igraju Delpo i Tipsarevic ( koji je odustao), nema smisla da Nadal ne moze. Iskreno, ja bih ukinuo zasticen ranking za olimpiske igre, a cini mi se da tako nesto postoji.

                      Zanimalo me samo kakav on uslov ispunjuje za da igra na OI, posto onaj sto sam gore spomenuo nije ispunio. Hvala jos jednom.

                          Mislim da nema jos konacno odluku, za sada stoji da ce igrati, i vjerovatno ce igrati cim nije odustao do sada... Rezultat nebitan, samo nek je zdrav i nek igra.

                              Ma nista Stefane, i mene je to interesovalo. Odakle ta informacija za Nadala? To je jako lose. Ako je tako sumnjam da cemo do Pekinga da ga vidimo na terenu. Nadam se da gresim, ali sumnjam...
