Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Ne znam ni da li se može raščivijati ko je najbolji ikada od njih trojice. Ok titule, ali titule ne govore sve. Pa ni statistika.

Uopste mi nije zasto je taj rekord toliko bitan pa sada svi trube o njemu toliko. Zasto se gleda bas top 10, a ne top 9 ili top 11? To sto ceo svet radi u bazi sa osnovom deset ili sto covek ima 10 prstiju ne znaci da je taj broj toliko bitan. Nadal je inace tokom 2015. na kratko bio upravo 10. na svetu. Dakle ako bi gledali broj uzastpnih nedelja u top 9 Nadal skoro sigurno ne bi bio rekorder.
Nazalost vecina ljudi ne razume poentu ovog posta. Meni je recimo logicnije da se gleda koliko je neko bio u top 8, ali ni to nije toliko bitno.Last edited by 147; 09-11-20, 19:59.Comment
