Schwarzer: Mourinho is a hands-on manager
"When I heard that [Mourinho was hands-off at United] I was really, really surprised. My experience of him at Chelsea - I don't think he ever missed a session. He was always involved and pretty much ran the sessions.
"He got everyone together in the middle of the pitch. Obviously we broke off into our different groups but he floated between the two groups. He was very much hands-on all the time.
"Even on international breaks when there was only two first-team players left at the ground - myself and John Terry - we'd be training with the Under 21s. He and his whole coaching staff would always be on the side of the pitch. At the time he let the Under 21s manager take over and run the session but he'd always be there casting an eye over so I find that really, really strange."
On Mourinho 'carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders':
"He's a very emotional man. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He takes everything to heart. He's such a passionate man. He's such a winner and he hates losing. I think if you speak to any player that has worked under successful managers, they despise losing and you will know when you've lost not just because of the result and the performance but because the manager would be so upset about it."
