Ne može da se poredi Martial sa Ivanom Perišićem, ne mogu u istu rečenicu. Ivan je igrao finale Svetskog prvenstva, jedan od najuticajnijih igrača, dok ovaj drugi nije čak imao ni mesta u ekipi od 23 igrača.

Pa nije sporno da je Ivan odigrao odlican SP i da je odlican igrač, ali ovakav talenat poput martiala se rijetko viđa i zato bi bilo ludo izvršit tu zamjenu ali desno bi nam Perišić (a martial lijevo) dobro dosao iako je i on jači lijevo nego desno
