Hi James, Any truth to Huntelaar rumours? I remember you said FSG won't be allowed to spend it on someone nearly 30
- I would be very surprised if Liverpool sign Huntelaar in January for a number of reasons. One, he's 29 and the owners have made it clear they want younger signings and secondly, there will be a number of Champions League clubs also chasing his services.

How many players do you expect Liverpool to sign in January?
- The manager said recently he needs '2 or 3' attacking players in January. I would be surprised if less than 3 come in as the squad is desperately thin.

What sort of budget to you believe Rodgers to have In January?
- Difficult to say at this stage in terms of a budget for January as Rodgers still involved in talks with the owners. I'd be surprised if it was more than £20million.

Walcott going renew you see? If he is not likely to come to Liverpool?
- Walcott is an interesting one as Rodgers wanted him in the summer but Arsenal weren't prepared to listen to offers. That's likely to change in Jan if Walcott still hasn't signed a new deal as they won't let him go on a free next summer. Walcott is a boyhood Reds fans and I think he would fit well into Rodgers' way of working. But the fee and wages could be an issue, especially if reports that he has rejected £75k per week at Arsenal are correct.

Do you think Liverpool need a quality winger in January?
- Rodgers is looking for attacking players who can play in any of those front 3 roles in his 4-3-3 formation. With a small squad, he needs versatility. What's why Walcott would be ideal as he can play wide or through the middle.

Do you think LFC have players lined up to come in Jan already or is it still a process of scouting and seeing who is available?
- It's definitely a case of still scouting and assessing their options. There's 8 weeks before the window opens. As it's common knowledge that LFC are desperate for firepower, it's no surprise they seem to be linked with just about everyone.

£20 Million is not enough in the transfer widow if we are to buy 2 - 3 players who can go straight ito the first team ? Wha do you think ?
- No, £20m isn't a great deal but that's why Liverpool's new scouting network is so important. They have to try to unearth value in the same way as Newcastle have done in recent years. The owners have made it clear Liverpool must live within their means and with no CL cash it's difficult to compete with the top clubs.

Is BR still interested in D.Sturridge?
How about Isco or Mertens?
- Sturridge is another one who could be on the Reds' list depending on the price in January. The owners insist they were willing to pay £15m for him on deadline day back in August but Rodgers wasn't convinced that was a good deal. He wanted to take him on loan first but Sturridge was only interested in a permanent deal so nothing happened.

Brate, pa oni nisu isti tip igraca, igraju na totalno razlicitim pozicijama, kako mozes i da poredis ovu dvojicu ?? To sto Djuricica teraju da igra tamo gde mu nije mesto je druga stvar.

Solidan tekst, i nekako sam ocekivao nekih 20m ili mozda malo vise, to je zaista malo da se nesto promeni u januaru, eventualno jedan dobar igrac. Zanimljivo mi je da nije nista prokomentarisao o Iscu i Mertensu nakon pre toga vec postavljenog pitanja o Staridzu... Isco je u ovom trenutku po meni nedostizan, mislim da mu je cena od leta porasla bas bas posle onih partija u LS kao i u Primeri, mada ko zna mozda se i desi neko cudo. Mertens nekako mislim da je tajna meta BR-a u januaru, njega ako ne uzmemo, nista nismo uradili u januaru.

Sto se tice Daniela, sta znam, ako su tada davali 15m za njega, po meni je to bilo ok u tom trenutku, medjutim, on ove sezone retko dobija minute, rizicno bi bilo dati sada te pare, tako da se ja slazem sa misljenjem Rodgersa po tom pitanju.
