    Treća ovosezonska trka se vozi u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, tačnije na COTA stazi lociranoj 19km južno od Austina(Texas). Na prve dve ovogodišnje trke slavio je Joan Mir (Leopard Honda) i time potvrdio odličnu formu, dok su mu u obe trke pratioci bili John McPhee (British Talent Team Honda) i Jorge Martin (Gresini Honda). U Americi se očekuje da se u borbu za pobede i podijume uključe Italijani Fenati, Di Giannantonio, Bulega, Bastianini itd.
