Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

I vezano za raspored, Dubai jos nije skroz iskljucen

Federer: “We were in talks with them (Dubai) but then when the tournament started I said, ‘If it’s OK, I’d like to decide after the tournament’.I also have to decide on the clay-court season, all these things are interlinked.The next week or so I’ll make a decision.”

Ako je fizicki ok, igrace Dubai sigurno ... da bi dosao do broja 1 ... a zna da ce na taj nacin naterati i Nadala da odigra Acapulco ...

But Federer has not needed much consolation of late as he glides on at an age by which nearly all of the great men’s players have moved on. He said it helped that his recurring back problems did not affect him here after troubling him post-Wimbledon last season.

“I was a bit worried at the end of the year,” he said. “I was relieved that after vacation, it was better. I think that’s why I was able to win here.”

Federer said that, unusually, he did not take any anti-inflammatory pills during the tournament. “I know guys my age who took one every day,” he said.

Odlicne vesti. Znaci samo psihicke prirode je bio onaj pad u igri. Pazi sad kad ode u Dubai.

Ne znam sta da mislim, bolje da ne igra Dubai jer brani IW i Majami, ali sa druge strane, mozda je i bolje da igra, jer Dubai nema neke igrace ove godine i ako podbaci na nekom mastersu, ti poeni bi mu dobro dosli.
A inace, ako ne igra, Nadalu treba polufinale u Akapulku da bi ostao no.1, a Akapulko je bas jak ove godine.
