    MARTIN O'NEILL - LAŽOV?


    Manager sunderland-a Martin O'Neill izjavio je, da je neko od članova stručnog štaba Newcastle United-a, tokom poluvremena na utakmici Newcastle - sunderland, ušao u prostorije sudije Mike Dean-a, kako bi izvršio pritisak na njega.         NEWCASTLE UNITED ACCOUNTS


        Newcastle United Limited today filed its annual accounts for the year end 30 June 2011.

        2010/11 was a landmark year for the Club financially, achieving close to break-even for the first time in its recent history, whilst at the same time retaining and building a strong squad which is currently sitting sixth in the Premier League.

        The overall operational loss for the year after amortisation was just £3.9m, compared to a loss of £33.5 million in 2009/10 and £37.7 million in 2008/9.

        Promotion to the Premier League resulted in a 69 per cent increase in turnover, from £52.4 million in 2009/10 to £88.4 million in 2010/11, principally the result of a three-fold increase in TV revenue.

        Ticket sales revenue rose 16 per cent, from £20.9 million in 2009/10 to £24.3 in 2010/11, largely the result of an increase in corporate hospitality income associated with the Club's return to the Premier League. Just under a million fans visited the stadium in 2010/11, the third highest attendance in the country.

        The Club has worked to bring its wages-to-turnover ratio down to a long-term sustainable level. In 2008/9 wages accounted for 82.7 per cent of turnover, rising to 90.5 per cent in the Championship season 2009/10. For the year 2010/11, wages accounted for 60.6 per cent of turnover.

        The net cash spend on player transfers to June 2011 was a receipt of £5.4 million, which includes the fee for the sale of Andy Carroll to Liverpool FC in January 2011. The Club has since spent a further £25 million in cash on players and wages.

        The Club has a strict policy in respect of player transfers, with the emphasis on paying and receiving full transfer fees up front rather than accepting dated payments over a number of years. When Mike Ashley acquired the Club in the summer of 2007, he inherited outstanding deferred transfer payments totalling £36 million for players past and present. Under the new policy, the Club is now owed £5 million.

        Thanks to the financial support of the owner Mike Ashley, the Club has now cleared all of its third party debts, which stood at £76 million in 2006/7 and incurred finance costs of £6.5 million. The debt to Mike Ashley remains £140 million, which continues to be provided interest-free by the owner.

        The Club secured a new two-year shirt sponsorship deal with Virgin Money in January 2012 and announced plans to sell full naming rights to the stadium in order to maximise potential revenue streams.

        Newcastle United's Managing Director Derek Llambias said: "The Club's financial results for the year end June 2011 are extremely strong. We can now count ourselves amongst very few clubs across the UK and Europe who are operating at close to break-even.

        "What is particularly pleasing is that we have achieved this whilst also ensuring we have a strong squad sitting firmly in the top third of the table and currently pushing for a European place.

        "Some of the key financial principles we set in place when Mike bought to the Club back in 2007 are now beginning to reap rewards. Most notably, our adherence to a strict transfer policy which avoids, or limits wherever possible, the acceptance of dated payments for players bought or sold. We believe it is a far healthier financial model to settle full transfer fees for players up front, not dated over a period of years.

        "We have dealt wisely in the transfer market and reinvested the income received from player sales into improving the squad. Our net cash spend on player transfers to June 2011, which includes the sale of Andy Carroll, was a receipt of £5.4 million, with a further £25 million in cash spent on transfers and players' wages since June 2011.

        "We have also worked hard to address an inherited wages-to-turnover ratio which was unsustainable. Wages now account for just over 60 per cent of turnover and we feel this is a healthy and affordable level.

        "A further significant achievement has been to clear all of the Club's interest-bearing debt, which in 2006/7 was costing £6.5 million a year just to finance the debt. Mike Ashley continues to provide loans totalling £140 million interest-free, for which we are extraordinarily fortunate. Once again, Mike has not taken any money out of the Club."

        The full annual accounts, including the financial statements of the Group and the Independent Auditors' Report for the year have been submitted to Companies House today.

              Oficijalno, za mene je Arsenal najsmrdljiviji tim u istoriji Engleskog fudbala, baš kao i njihov kapiten, govno od čoveka Robin Van Persie. Neću da kunem, ali...

                Mnogo gotivim Newcastle, ovaj tim im je sada bombona. Kad bi ostali na okupu sledece sezone, mislim da bi mogli u prvih 4. Bas bih voleo da ih vidim u LS.

                  ARSENAL STIGAO DO POBEDE U SUDIJSKOJ NADOKNADI

                  ARSENAL - NEWCASTLE UNITED 2 : 1


                  Duboko duboku u sudijskoj nadoknadi, Arsenal je stigao do pobede preko Thomas Vermaelen-a. Sudija Howard Webb je produžio meč za misterioznih pet minuta i baš u petom minutu Arsenal stiže do gola za konačnih 2:1.

                  Alan Pardew je na Emirates Stadium izveo sledećih XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon , Obertan , Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez, Ben Arfa, Ba.

                  Arsenal je mogao da povede iz prvog napada na utakmici, kada je Van Persie zakasnio da loptu sprovede u mrežu sa pet metara, posle dobrog centaršuta sa desnog boka.

                  Međutim, poveo je Newcastle United preko Hatem Ben Arfa-e u 14. minutu utakmice, posle odličnog solo prodora po desnom boku i udarca u bližu stativu, za 1:0. Wojciech Szczesny nije mogao da veruje šta mu se dogodilo.

                  Ali Arsenal stiže do izjednačenja već u sledećem napadu preko Robin Van Persie-a, koji je na dobar centaršut Walcott-a sa desnog boka, bio spretniju u duelu od Williamson-a i lako sa pet metara matirao Krul-a za 1:1.

                  Kapiten Arsenal-a Van Persie je konstantno "drobio" Krul-u da požuri sa ubicavanje lopte u igru, prilikom svakog prekida. Međutim, ppstavlja se pitanje, ako je sudija Webb dozvolio Krul-u da "krade" vreme prilikom ubacivanja lopte u igru, šta tu ima da se meša Van Persie?


                  Poluvreme: 1 : 1


                  Na poluvremenu u svlačionici ostao je Davide Santon, dok je umesto njega na poziciju levog beka otišao "devojak za sve" James Perch.

                  U nastavku utakmice, Arsenal je imao dominaciju na terenu, ali propustili su nekoliko povoljnih prilika preko Van Persie-a, Tomas Rosicky-og i Gervinho-a.

                  U 61. minutu, umesto anonimusa Obertan-a u igru je ušao Shola Ameobi, dok je u 81. minutu umesto Cheik Tiote-a u igru ušao Danny Guthrie.

                  Baš kada se činilo da će Newcastle United otići sa Emirates Stadium-a sa bodom, Thomas Vermaelen, na dobar centaršut sa desnog booka, sa pet metara desnom nogom postavlja konačan rezultat u 95. minutu 2:1.

                  Posle gola Van Persie se u lice smejau Krul-u, na šta mu gorostasni čuvar mreže Newcastle-a nije ostao dužan. Umalo nije došlo do fizičkog sukoba njih dvojice. Obojica su dobili po žuti karton, mada moje mišljenje je da je Van Persie zaslužio i crveni.

                  Oficijalno, za mene je Arsenal najsmrdljiviji tim u istoriji Engleskog fudbala, baš kao i njihov kapiten, govno od čoveka Robin Van Persie. Neću da kunem, ali...

                      PAPISS CISSE DONEO POBEDU NEWCASTLE UNITED-u

                      NEWCASTLE UNITED - NORWICH CITY 1 : 0


                      Golom Papiss Cisse-a u 11. minutu utakmice, Newcastle United je pobedio danas solidni Norwich City. Asistenciju je upisao Jonas Gutierrez koji je sa pozicije levog krila fenomenalno centrirao na penaltik, gde se nalazio Papiss Cisse, koji desnom spoljnom šalje loptu u desne rašlje golmana Norwich-a John Ruddy-a za 1:0 minut 11.

                      Alan Pardew je na teren St James' Park-a izveo sledećih XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Perch, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Guthrie, Gutierrez, Ba, Cisse.

                      Meč je počeo minutom aplauza u znakom podrške igraču Bolton-a Fabrice Muamba-i, koji je prethodnog dana doživeo srčani udar na terenu.

                      Cisse je u uvodnim minutama utakmice lobom pokušao da savlada Ruddy-a ali mu je ovaj odbranio udarac.

                      Posle gole, Newcastle United je imao terenski inicijativu i još u dva navrata imao odlične prilike da duplira prednost. Prvu priliku je imao Demba Ba, posle udarca Cabaye-a sa ivice šesnaesterca, Ba je pokušao loptu da sprovede u mrežu ali je Ruddy imao svoj dan. Drugu priliku imao je Papiss Cisse pred kraj poluvremena, kada ga je sa loptom spojio Gutierrez poslavši ga u situaciju jedan na jedan sa Ruddy-em, ali i ovoga puta John Ruddy brani.

                      Sudija Phil Dowd mogao je mirne duše da pokaže na belu tačku u korist Newcastle-a jer je jedonog igrača Norwich-a lopta pogodila u ruku u svom šesnaestercu.

                      U nastavku igre, Norwich je imao dve-tri vrlo izgledne prilike za gol preko Pilkington-a i Whitbread-a. Posebno dobra je bila ova Whitbread-a kada je sa samo pet metara glavom šutirao ka golu Krul-a ali ovaj sjajnom odbranom prebacuje loptu preko prečke.

                      Poslednju priliku na meču imao je Steve Morison, ali on se spetljao pred golom Krul-a i prilika je otišla u nepovrat.

                      Newcastle United je slabo odigrao drugo poluvreme, stvorivši svega dve-tri poluprilike. Prvu preko Cisse-a koji je pokušao udarcem sa dvadesetak metara, kao i preko Ba-e koji se nije najbolje snašao u protivničkih pet metara. Rezervista Shola Ameobi pred sam kraj utakmice je oprobao udarac sa distance, ali je lopta otišla pored gola.

                      Vredi napomenuti da je u odsustvu Cheik Tiote-a, James Perch odigrao maestralno na sredini terena. Takođe treba napomenuti da Mike Williamson nije ni za Championship jer je konstantno petljao i sa lošim izbacivanjem stvarao nervozu kod saigrača.

                        U okviru 30. kola Premier League, Newcastle United gostuje na The Hawthorns Stadium, gde će snage odmeriti sa West Bromwich Albion-om. Meč se igra u nedelju u 4pm (GMT), odnosno u 17h (CET).

                            PAPISS CISSE I HATEM BEN ARFA POKORILI HAWTHORNS

                            WEST BROMWICH ALBION - NEWCASTLE UNITED 1 : 3


                            Vrlo lako igrači Newcastle United-a su na Hawthorns-u stigli do 0:3. Golove su postigli Papiss Cisse u 6. minutu, Hatem Ben Arfa u 11. minutu i ponovo Papiss Cisse u 34. minutu prvog poluvremena.

                            Alan Pardew na sunčani The Hawthorns Stadium izvodi sledećih XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Perch, Ben Arfa, Guthrie, Cabaye, Gutierrez, Cisse, Ba.

                            U suštini, mi na Howthorns-u vrlo retko gubimo, bude tu i tamo po koji remi, ali uglavnom tamo oderemo domaćina. Tako je bilo i ovog puta.

                            Već u 6. minutu, Hatem Ben Arfa, šalje sa pozicije levog krila upotrebljivu loptu na peterac, gde se nalazio Papiss Cisse, koji nepogrešivo loptu šalje iza Foster-a za 0:1. Odlični Cisse, na pravom mestu u pravo vreme...

                            Tu igrači u narandžastim dresovima nisu stali. Posle 11 minuta igre seva kontra, koju je predvodio Hatem Ben Arfa. On loptu brzo prosleđuje do Cisse-a, koji mu je vraća. Hatem Ben Arfa se sa pozicije desnog krila lako ušetao u šesnaesterac gostiju, namestio se na levu nogu i sa penaltika, lako matirao Foster-a, poslavši loptu u njegov donji desni ugao za 0:2. Na Smethwick end-u ludilo.

                            Međutim, tada Newcastle počinje da igra lošije. Baš kao i na mečevima na SJP-u protiv Wolves, Villa-e, Everton-a pa i Norwich-a, počinjemo sa panikom i dugim loptama. Potpuno nepotrebno. Ako fudbal po zemlji daje rezultate, zašto ga menjati?

                            Međutim, u periodu loše igre, Newcastle United stiže i do trećeg gola. Ponovo seva kontra predvođena odličnim Ben Arfa-om, koji loptu nosi sve do tridesetak metara od gola domaćih. Tada je prosleđuje do Demba Ba-e, koji je prima u šesnaestercu, čekajući da mu Ben Arfa dođe iza leđa. Tada je Ba petom prosleđuje Ben Arfa-i, koji sa levog boka šalje loptu na penaltik, gde se nalazio Papiss Cisse, koji levom nogom loptu šalje iza Foster-ovih leđa za 0:3, minut 34. Delirijum na gostujućem sektoru.

                            Pred kraj poluvremena kapiten i lider tima Fabricio Coloccini je počeo da šepa.

                            Fabricio Coloccini je na poluvremenu ostao u svlačionici, dok je umesto njega u igru ušao Davide Santon. Perch prelazi u srce dbrane, dok je Santon prešao na poziciju levog beka. Jonas preuzima kapitensku traku.

                            Nervi su počeli da rade i kod igrača Newcastle-a, što je uspeo da iskoristi živahni rezervista domaćih Shane Long, koji je znalački iskoristio sudar u šesnaestercu Krul-a i Williamson-a i sa desetak metara loptu poslao u praznu mrežu za 1:3, minut 52. Mike Williamson jednostavno nije igrač Premijerligaškog kalibra.

                            Papiss Cisse je mogao da reši pitanje pobednika nekoliko minuta kasnije, kada je izašao jedan na jedan sa Foster-om, ali je i golman WBA morao nešto da odbrani.

                            Hatem Ben Arfa je posle još jednog solo prodora uputio udarac ka Foster-u sa dvadesetak metara, ali i to Foster brani.

                            James Perch je ponovo odigrao maestralno. Polako Perch dobija nadimak "Perchinho".

                            U 75. minutu utakmice umesto Hatem Ben Arfa-u u igru ulazi Shola Ameobi. Ben Arfa uz ovacije sa gostujućeg sektora napušta teren.

                            Papiss Cisse zbog povrede svoje mesto ustopa Shane Ferguson-u u 79. minutu utakmice.

                            Zbog prekida prilikom ukazivanja pomoći Cisse-u i Morrison-u, meč je produžen za sedam minuta. U sudijskoj nadoknadi Krul nije imao nikakvih problema, dok je na suprotnoj strani Foster morao jednom da interveniše posle udarca koji je ka njegovom golu uputio Demba Ba.
