Haris Vučkić je Slovenac bosanskog porekla. Počeo je karijeru u NK Domžale. Za Domžale je odigrao svega pet utakmica.
Navodno je veliki talenat. Bio je na probi u AC Milan-u i nije prošao. Stigao je u Newcastle United u januaru 2009. godine. Za prvi tim Newcastle-a debitovao je u 26. avgusta 2009. u Carling Cup-u protiv Huddersfield-a. Međutim, u oktobru 2009. godine se povredio, gde je odsustvovao sa terena tri meseca.

U četvrtom kolu Carling Cup-a, Newcastle United će na St James Park-u ugostiti ekipu Arsenal-a.
Meč se igra u ponedeljak 25. oktobra 2010. godine. Šta je tu je. I Chelsea je bio favorit pa smo ih izbacili. Na St James' Park-u ugostićemo Wenger-ov vrtić i uprkos tome što nam žreb nije bio naklonjen, mislim da možemo i Arsenal da izbacimo iz Carling Cup-a.

Autogol James Perch-a u 85. minutu meča, doneo je Newcastle United-u drugi uzastopni poraz na St James' Park-u. Ovoga puta od Newcastle United-a bolja je bila ekipa Stoke City, koja je pobedila rezultatom 1:2.
Chris Hughton na St James' Park izveo je sledećih XI: Krul, Perch, Coloccini, Williamson, Jose Enrique, Ben Arfa, Barton, Tiote, Routledge, Nolan, Carroll
U prvom delu igre, Newcastle je odlično igrao. Stvarao je prilike nedozvolivši gostima da se razmahnu. Dva puta je Ben Arfa pokušao iz slobodnog udarca, dok je jednom pokuašo Barton. No, niti jednom nisu bili uspešni.
Kada se činili da će se na poluvreme otići bez golova, u šesnaestercu Stoke-a, Robert Huth je srušio Andy Carroll-a. Sudija Mike Jones pokazao je na belu tačku. Siguran izvođač sa bele tačke bio je Kevin Nolan, tako što je poslao loptu u jednu a Sorensen-a u drugu stranu. 1:0, minut 42.

Umesto da se sa deset bodova šepurimo na petom mesto, dozvolili smo sebi da ponovo izgubimo na St James' Park-u. Trenutno smo deseti na tabeli, ali sa samo dva boda više od osamnaestogWigan-a. Isključivi krivac za ovaj poraz je Chris Hughton, koji je pola sata pre kraja meča zamenio Ben Arfa-u. Jednostavno, Hughton nema hrabrosti da iz igre izvadi Nolan-a, koji je bio totalno neprimetan (uprkos postignutom golu sa bele tačke). Sledeći meč je sledeće nedelje protiv Man City-a u gostima. Tamo po pravilu nemamo šta da tražimo, ali tako je bilo i na Goodison-u, protiv Everton-a, pa smo ih dobili. Videćemo...Loše je što igramo toplo-hladno. Nikako da uđemo u dobru seriju. Gde bi nam bio kraj da smo dobili i Blackpool i Stoke. Sa 13. bodova bi bili na drugom mestu. Ovako...
