Samo hrabri i ambiciozni igrači su u stanju da svoju igru promene onda kada ona ne donosi rezultate, te iz takvog ugla i treba posmatrati igru Andy-ja.
Većina igrača protiv Novaka jednostavno ponese svoj standardni tenis, koji im u prošlosti nije doneo ništa dobro protiv Novaka, ali to njih ne sprečava da iznova pokušavaju svojom standardnom igrom da ga pobede, valjda se nadaju da će njihova standardna igra biti bolja nego ikada ranije, a da će Nole odigrati loše, pa da im se tu eventualno ukaže prilika.
To se uglavnom nikada ne dogodi i oni redovno gube, na isti način.
Andy se za razliku do nekih trudi da svoju igru promeni, jer shvata da njegov tenis koji donosi rezultate protiv ostatka tura protiv Noleta nemože da prođe.
