    Sjajno izdanje Australije, koja bi u trecoj deceniji novog milenijuma mogla povratiti davno izgubljeni primat nad takmicenjem. Lejton je pre ovog duela sa Uzbekistanom odlikovan za posvecenost Dejvis Kupu, posto mu je ovo sesnaesta godina kako za redom igra ovo takmicenje

    Pancho Gonzalez ; Ivan Lendl ; Andre Agassi ; Rafael Nadal

          Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy.                   Lagano smo uzeli prvi set, čini se neočekivano. Sada će ići teži deo meča, kada bu uspeli nekako da dobijemo bilo bi dobro, evo Paes i Bopana imaju brejk prednosti u drugom setu.
