Newcastle United u nedelju putuje u London, na poslednji meč Championship-a. Ugošćuje nas ekipa Queens Park Rangers-a. Meč se igra na Loftus Road-u, sa početkom u 1pm (GMT). Newcastle United je sezonu završio sa stilom. Pobedom na Loftus Road-u, protiv Queens Park Rangers-a, rezultatom 0:1, crno-beli su završili sezonu sa 102 boda. Jedini gol na današnjem meču, postigao je Peter Lovenkrands u 71. minutu.
Chris Hughton na Loftus Road-u izvodi sledećih XI: Krul, Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Ryan Taylor,Routledge, Barton, Smith, Guthrie, Best, Ameobi
Ne baš zanimljivo prvo poluvreme na Loftus Road-u. Tim Krul ponovo ima par top class odbrana, dok Leon Best ima ponajbolju priliku da Newcastle United dovede u vođstvo, ali on svoju šansu, po ko zna koji put ove sezone promašuje. Šta se dešava sa tim momkom niko ne zna.
Wayne Routledge je takođe imao solidnu priliku za Newcastle United u prvom poluvremenu.
Zatim je i QPR imao par dobrih prilika, preko Jay Simpson-a i Akos Buzsaky-a, ali Tim Krul na visini zadatka.

U nastavku igre, već u 46. minutu, nekadašnji igrač Newcastle United-a, Peter Ramage, dobija crveni karton zbog prekršaja nad Ameobi-em. Leon Best je pametno gurnuo loptu u prazno za Ameobi-a, Ramage ga obara kao zadnji igrač odbrane i sudiji Deadman-u ne preostaje ništa drugo nego da Ramage-a pošalje na prevremeno tuširanje.

FABRICE PANCRATE NAPUSTIO NEWCASTLE UNITED
Lee Anderson, agent Fabrice Pancrate-a, potvrdio je da je krilni igrač Newcastle United-a, napustio klub i vratio se u Francusku.
"Fabrice se ne vraća u klub. On je potpisao ugovor na godinu dana, sa mogućnošću produženja, ali klub ne želi da sa njim produži ugovor. Fabrice nije uznemiren sa tom odlukom, ali je razočaran što neće ponovo igrati pred navijačima Newcastle-a" - izjavio je njegov agent.
Facrice Pancrate je izjavio:
"Zaista sam razočaran što neću biti igrač Newcastle United-a i sledeće sezone. Ovo je najbolji klub za koji sam igrao. Navijači Newcastle United-a su najbolji pred kojima sam igrao i zaista je neverovatan osećaj igrati pred njima".
Pancrate je za svrake odigrao 19 utakmica i postogao jedan nezaboravan gol i to onaj protiv Watford-a, na St James' Park-u.
Newcastle United, takođe su napustili Nicky Butt i Fitz Hall, koji se vratio u QPR.
Očekuje se i vest iz kluba, da će sledeći igrači postati free agenti: Wesley Ngo Baheng, Frank Wiafe Danquah, Jonny Godsmark, Darren ,Lough i Callum Morris.
