Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Kako iz totalne anonimosti za 45 minuta postati heroj nacije. To je Ivana upravo uradila. 90% ljudi nikad za nju nije čulo, a sada je svi obožavaju. Veliki broj momaka je zaljubljen u nju
. Znate žao mi je Čavića, ali mi je drago što je ona osvojila 100. medalju. Na fejsu zadnjih dva sata samo njene slike i kako joj čestitaju. Ovoliko se ni Zlatićeva medalja nije slavila i sa ovim kao što kaže KERSDRS postala je najljepša i sada i sigurno najomiljenija srpska sportistkinja. Ima 22 i tek je pred njom budućnost, ima Anin primjer šta ne treba da radi i sve će biti odlično...

Максимовић: Још нисам свесна шта сам урадила
"Имам осећај да је такмичење као и свако друго, односно и медаља као и свака друга. Ипак, верујем да ће сутра да ме звекне и да ћу бити свесна шта сам урадила, јер је ово мој највећи успех у каријери", рекла је 22. годишња Максимовићева новинарима у Лондону.
Максимовићева је навела да се помало створила фама око 100. медаље за Србију, али је открила да јој је драго што ју је баш она освојила.
"Обе медаље које смо ми, стрелци узели вреде за Србију и волела бих да одличја освоје и Новак и ватерполисти. Надам се да ћемо имати победнички повратак са ОИ", истакла је репрезентативка Србије.
Она је навела да је финално такмичење било веома стресно, али да је остала прибрана у одлучујућим тренуцима.
"Знала сам да ћу имати добар резултат ако успем да се исконтролишем, што је битно у стрељаштву. Веома сам срецна. Имала сам неке слабе деветке, било је и треме. Ипак, успела сам да одржим позицију на којој сам била у квалификацијама и да узмем стоту медаљу за Србију", објаснила је она.
Максимовић је навела да је радост одмах поделила са оцем Гораном, такође некадашњим репрезентативцем у стрељаштву.
"Тата је звао брата који је у Црној Гори на мору, али је све пратио. Све ово је за њега. Чули смо се и пре и после пуцања, и пре финала и сада чекам да му се јавим. Ово њему дугујем", поручила је српска олимпијка.
Она се захвалила на подршци свима у Србији, али и колегама из репрезентације у Лондону и додала да се нада свечаном дочеку на балкону Скупштине града у Београду.
"Ако буде балкон, то ће представљати потпуно остварење мог сна", истакла је освајачица сребрне медаље.
Максимовићева је додала и да је јуче била тужна због пораза Новака Ђоковића у полуфиналу, као и због тога што се Милорад Чавић није докопао одличја.
"Некако је све било како не ваља, али су они стварно велики спортисти. Мени је велика част што сам са њима у олимпијском тиму и што сам могла да их упознам", закључила је она.Comment
