Ovo je pokeraski potez, i to genijalan. Povecas ponudu za Fieldsa, kako NYK ne bi mogao da ide na Nash. Knicksima je sigurno buducnost bitnija, a i ne gori im toliko za pleja pa ce pustiti Stevea, i tako su izbacili najveceg igraca iz kombinacija. Ako na kraju u NY odluce da ipak uzmu Kanadjanina, dobijas solidnu zamenu, igraca kojeg kasnije opet mozes utopiti za pleja ili neku hitniju poziciju. Po meni potpuno briljantno za popravljanje pozicije u situaciji sa Nashom koji je glavna meta.

Celtics, Jason Terry nearing multi-year deal
The Celtics are in "final discussions" about a multi-year contract for Jason Terry, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The Celts are thought to be giving Terry their mid-level exception, and it will be interesting to see how this affects their pursuit of Ray Allen -- as Spears points out, Doc Rivers has said he can picture both SGs on the roster next season. This is a great signing for Boston, who infused their team with young big men in the draft and are once again poised to challenge for Eastern Conference dominance.

Updating a previous report, the Celtics and Jason Terry have officially agreed to a three-year, $15 million contract.
The Celtics used their entire mid-level exception to land Terry, a 34-year-old SG who made 37.8 percent of his 3-pointers last year and is comfortable with a backup role (potentially allowing Avery Bradley or Ray Allen, if he re-signs, to start at SG). We'll soon learn whether the final year is guaranteed -- if so, the Celtics have put significant faith in the aging bodies of Terry and Kevin Garnett.

We already knew the Warriors were on Roy's short-list, along with the Wolves, Bulls, Mavericks, Pacers, and possibly the Cavaliers and Lakers. Right now there's no real indication which way he's leaning.
