Congrats to Chris Copeland for signing with Knicks. Cope's journey went as undrafted out of Colorado in 2006 to stops overseas and DLeague.
    Arise, Serbia!
    You fell asleep long ago,
And have lain in the dark.
    Now wake up
    And rouse the Serbs!

      • i jos vezano za Sacremento Kingse:
The Sacramento Kings have announced that they have waived center Hassan Whiteside. Presumably to make room for a contract for Aaron Brooks. Brooks addition would put the Kings right near the salary cap of $58.044 million, the highest payroll since 2008-09.

Nije to jos uvek to... uci ce mozda u Playoff zato sto Golden State opet nije ni prstom mrdnuo, a Houston ce naravno opet da omasi za par pobeda. Posle ce ih oduvati recimo OKC.

Mada ipak su odradili neku semu... Cikago necu ni da spominjem..

                      • O.J. Mayo's contract with the Mavericks is for two years.
The second year is a player option, so Mayo will have the opportunity to re-test the free agent market in 2013. There are rumblings that Mayo's deal averages less than $5 million annually, and if that's the case, the Mavs (once again) did well while shopping in the bargain bin. Mayo should have a clear path to playing time and is an intriguing name in fantasy to stash away for the upcoming campaign.

Unrestricted free agent Jermaine O'Neal will work out for the Lakers on Tuesday, a source tells Yahoo! Sports.
The Lakers were rumored to have interest in JO for the veteran's minimum, and we can't imagine O'Neal getting a better offer than that if Los Angeles is willing to gamble. O'Neal was limited to just 25 games last season with the Celtics and was said to be previously contemplating retirement. It's possible he could still be effective in a limited role, but his injury history is a major red flag.

                          • The Nets and Kris Humphries remain in contract negotiations, but a deal is expected to be completed soon.
A source told the New York Daily News that Humphries' deal was "in the works," and it's been previously reported that the contract is in the range of about 3 years and $26 million. Humphries made $8 million for the 2011-12 season on a one-year pact. We expect him to return to the Nets and be a part of Brooklyn's inaugural season.

The Celtics and Lakers have had discussions with the Rockets about a sign-and-trade deal for unrestricted free agent Courtney Lee.
We knew that the Celtics were looking for a way to pursue Lee, and although the Lakers have some interest, it's hard to see what the Lakers could send in a package to Houston that would bring Lee into the fold. We're still betting that Lee will hold out for a solid pay day from a team with cap space, and the Phoenix Suns could target him after O.J. Mayo agreed to terms with the Mavericks. Lee is also said to be on Minnesota's radar.

The Clippers have "made contact" with unrestricted free agent Grant Hill.
An ESPN report stated that the team had interest in Hill, while the Los Angeles Times reports that Hill is "less likely" to join the Lakers despite having conversations with both Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant. Hill was known to have the Lakers, Knicks and Heat on his radar, but it sounds as if the Clippers are now under consideration as well.
Brandon Roy's two-year deal with the Timberwolves is expected to be completed after the Nicolas Batum situation is resolved.
Roy's agent said that he's been in contact with David Kahn daily and the deal will "probably" get done "this week." The Timberwolves are also expected to turn their attention to other moves after the Batum offer sheet is matched by Portland. Alexey Shved has an agreement in principle with the team while the club has also expressed interest in Jordan Hill and Greg Stiemsma
