Nadal nets final victory at Rogers CupHe says "Hello" at the beginning of every media session and "Thank you very much" at the end. Nobody else does.
The ceaseless focus seems genuine, as does his stated desire to improve his serve, his backhand, his game. Federer has been No. 1 since Feb. 2, 2004. He is still a titan, this week's baffling loss to Simon notwithstanding.
But several times after the Swiss star's ouster, including twice Sunday, someone in the crowd shouted, "Where is Federer?"
Where he is is within the sights of this force of nature from the island of Mallorca. This was Nadal's fifth straight tournament win, including the French Open and that epic clash at Wimbledon. The previous opponents in the finals: Federer, Federer, No. 3 Novak Djokovic, and Federer. A clear message is being sent, day after day after day.
"I would love to be No. 1," said Nadal, "but I am No. 2 right now, no?"
Not for long, no.

pa jednostavno,ove godine je sve pomereno zbog Olimpijade,tako da ce se u jednom trenutku bodovi iz Montreala i Cincinatija racunati duplo,tj. i ovogodisnji i proslogodisnji,ali ce se sve to srediti 18.8.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfzsyKXSs-Y
Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Sve bi bilo jednostavnije kada bi se poeni dodavali/oduzimali onda kada se odrzava turnir, bez obzira da li je to ista nedelje kao prosle godine. Ovako samo nastaje nepotrebna konfuzija.

Ja mislim da je ovako bolje,posto je mnogo lakse napraviti presek za prethodne 52 nedelje nego pratiti kad se koji turnir odrzava.Mozda je sad malo konfuzno,ali tako je bilo i za vreme sljake nekih par nedelja pa se na kraju sve sredilo.
