Pa on je sada mnogo unapredio engleski, recnik mu je mnogp veci , bolje razume i opustenije prica. Spancima je jako tesko da nauce engleski , posebno da izgube njihov prepoznatljiv akcenat dok pricaju. Rafa nije ziveo u inostranstvu, trenirao je kod kuce i nikada nije imao potrebu da ga uci. 8)

Meni je bas simpatican Rafin engleski. Mislim da ce svake godine sve vise napredovati sto se tice toga,iako mislim da ga zna onoliko koliko mu je potrebno.

Hola Rafa! First I would just like to say good luck with Wimbledon and I really think this is your year. You said in one interview that you had a few movies and books with you to occupy your extra time this year. I was wondering if you could name a few of them.

Rafa: Many thanks. Yes, I have been watching a few movies I brought such as Terminator (tonight I watched it) and The Bourne Identity. I have Terminator because Carlos Moya put it in my bag in Paris one day when we were shopping. He told me I had to watch it. A classic. I also brought a couple of books that I haven't started yet.

Which are you most nervous about and why, your next match or Spain's final on Sunday?

Rafa: I am not really nervous before I start. When I step on court I am the normal thing. I suppose against Germany on Sunday I will be nervous since the moment we start playing.

Have you had many offers to play mixed doubles?

Rafa: Not really since I never play doubles at Grand Slams. Please promise you won't turn up to Wimbledon next year in a woolly cardigan even if it is made by a your sponsor? Trust me it's not a good look for a young man like you!

Rafa: But Roger looks pretty good in it. Today when I was leaving the site I saw him with it. Not my style I have to say but it does look good on Roger.

What do you think about English football?

Rafa: I like it very much. I like the teams and watch it all the time, especially Man United since I love watching Ronaldo. I think it is fast and exciting. No theatre or faking things. I like it a lot.

If you had the choice who would you prefer to play at Wimbledon Sampras, Agassi, Federer or Ivanisevic?

Rafa: I played against Agassi here at Wimbledon couple of years ago. Last year in your Wimbledon blog you said that you were trying to get rid of some of your habits/superstitions such as lining up the bottles, not shaving etc. How do you feel that you are getting on with that?

Rafa: Not bad. Sometimes I am better than other times. But they are not superstitions.

Your English is amazing, and is just improving all the time, so I just want to know do you have lessons or do you just pick it up from hearing other people talk or watching movies/TV etc?

Danilo...kakve sad ima veze kako Rafa pricha engleski? Pa nije on profesor na katedri engleskog jezika nego teniser! Pola fudbalera ne zna ni da pricha na svom jeziku, a kamoli na stranom...
On je svoj engleski dosta unapredio, a to chak nije ni morao da radi, vec je zeleo...Tsonga na primer ne zna ni da bekne engleski...pa shta sad? On je tu da igra, a ne da pricha...a kad vec ima priliku da pricha u intervjuima, postoji i opcija korishcenja prevodioca, koju Rafa ne koristi sem ponekad, jer zeli sam da se pomuchi malo...

Tako da cenim da je Rafin engleski vishe za pohvalu nego kritiku...

tacno je da rafa nije bas boravio u inostranstvu i da je okruzen svim spancima...ali on sada ide na turnire sirom kugle zemaljske tako da ne mozemo reci da nema potrebu da govori engleski...to je njegova stvar...ali ja mislim da ako bi se stvarno potrudio da ga dobro nauci naucio bi ga do sad...tu nema niceg loseg ako on tako hoce i slazem se sa vama...nego sam skrenuo paznju na impozantni broj gramatickih gresaka...
